Breast Augmentation or Breast Augmentation Mammaplasty

Breast augmentation, or augmentation mammaplasty, is a surgical procedure to enhance the size and shape of a woman's breast. This commonly performed procedure must be carefully tailored to each woman, to match both the woman's preference for size and shape, as well as the stature and size of the patient.

During your initial consultation, we will evaluate your health and determine which surgical techniques are most appropriate for you. If your breasts are sagging, we may also discuss a breast lift.

During the procedure, an implant is inserted through an incision made under the crease under the breast, around the areola (dark tissue around the nipple), or through the armpit. The implant may be placed under the breast tissue or beneath the chest wall muscle. We take special care to assure that the incision scar will be as subtle and unnoticeable as possible.

Whether your goal is to correct developmentally misshapen breasts, to enlarge the breast size, to alter the appearance after pregnancy or age, or to enhance one's self appearance, we can assist you in obtaining the desired result.

For any further questions please contact one of our locations for a complimentary consultation with a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon. Call us at 800.788.1416 or visit us on line at www.BeverlyHillsPhysicians.Com
