Michael Giuffrida, M.D.
Dr. Giuffrida recently moved to Southern California from the Northeast, bringing with him over 20 years of experience specializing in plastic and reconstructive surgery and surgery of the hand. He also has extensive experience and is a master of the most advanced techniques of modern aesthetic plastic surgery. He earned his medical degree from Tufts Medical School after graduating magna cum laude with a B.S. in Biology from Boston College. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Plastic Surgery, the only board recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialists to meet the requirements for specialty in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Giuffrida is also a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, having met the rigorous requirements needed to join these two prestigious organizations.
Outside of work Dr. Giuffrida loves to travel and do outdoor activities such as surfing and road biking. He is also an avid yoga practitioner and is currently completing his 200-hour teacher training through the Yoga Alliance. It has always been his dream to live in California, and having recently moved here he hopes to see every inch of the state.
